About

David Carlson is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy and Religion at Franklin College. As well as being the author of the award-winning Christopher Worthy and Father Fortis mystery series from Coffeetown Press, David Carlson is the author of Peace Be with You: Monastic Wisdom for a Terror-Filled World (Thomas Nelson Publishers), which was selected as one of the Best Books of the Year in 2011 in the category of Spiritual Living by Library Journal, and Countering Religious Extremism: The Healing Power of Spiritual Friendship (New City Press).

David is also a media resource and frequent speaker on religion and terrorism, Catholic-Orthodox relations, and Christian-Muslim relations.
